- Bram Beeck in Rif-Raf (ned. editie) : "Four covers of their idols hide inconspicuously between their own writings - that's clearly not the lesser in quality. Quite a feat, that is, for whitey's from the low countries.".
- Kris van Dyck in Focus - Knack "Dit visitekaartje is eenvoudig, intiem en tijdloos, met de prachtzang vooraan in de mix en smaakvol geassisteerd door de ritmestectie van Sukilove .. De plaat wordt nooit klef, benadert het country-genre op een frisse manier. Chitlin' Fooks kan zonder blozen naast de beste Americana-groepen uit de VS staan. Wedden dat Emmylou Harris complimentjes gooit als ze dit hoort".
