ANDRE BRASSEUR

Organist and instrumentalist of the 60's.

Scored a huge and international hit in 1965 with the instrumental "Early Bird" (named after the first telecommunications satellite that was launched into orbit in the same year).

In Belgium, it got all the way to number 1 and remained in the charts for four months.

The follow-up single "l'Atlantide/Studio 17" also went up the charts (to n° 16) and remained there for 1 month. Of all other singles in his impressive list (see below) not a trace can be found in the hitparades.

In the seventies, André Brasseur was part of the Bluesworkshop, the band of Roland Van Campenhout, for some time. With him, he toured the Far East.
