Synth pop of the early eighties. Kuruki was almost a solo project, by Ghent-based
musician Gerry D'Haeyer.

In fact, Kuruki is mainly a one hit wonder. The single "Crocodile tears"
was fun and interesting. The successors (like the single "Just a cat"
of 1983, which was recorded with Alan Gevaert & Chris Whitley of Noh
Rodeo) were disasters.
Gerry D'Haeyer later went on to play drums with bluesmusician Roland
Van Campenhout.
