The Yéh-Yéhs was a fun project of Bart Peeters (see Radios)
and Hugo Matthysen, together with Marcel Vanthilt (known
from Arbeid Adelt!). The project was a spinoff from
the television show Pop-Elektron (with "De Hermannen") and a predecessor
to the immensely popular radio show Het Leugenpaleis and groups like the Clemens
Peerens Explosition.
The Yéh-Yéhs made a smashing debut (and farewell) single with "The Seven
Kings of Rock & Roll". They also made a surprise appearance on some of
the biggest Belgian summer festivals called Seaside.
