On the verge of an international breakthrough with the single "Life in
reverse". This single opens some doors for them in the U.K., but just before
a planned session with John Peel (the famous alternative Radio 1 disc-jockey)
in conjunction with The Names, Marc Marine leaves the
band after which they split up.
Part of the band goes on to form Allez Allez and
goes on to make catchy and danceable funk-music.
Marc Marine changes his name to Marc Du Marais and forms La
Muerte to make music in the tradition of The Birthday Party, the Stooges and
garage-music.
